Eligibility Criteria for Tripura  Pre-Matric Scholarship

1. The student should belong to Scheduled Tribe.
2. Her/His Parents’/Guardian’s income should not exceed Rs. 2. 00 lakh per annum.
3. She/he should not be getting any various other Centrally-funded Pre-Matric Scholarship.
4. She/he should be a regular, full-time student studying in a Government School or within the School recognized by way of Govt. or the Central/State Board involving Secondary Education.
5. Scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only 12 months. If a student needs to repeat a group, she/he would not get scholarship towards class for a moment (or upcoming) year.

Scope for Tripura Pre-Matric Scholarship

Scholarship under the Scheme is going to be available for reviews in India only and will be awarded by the government of the State/Union Territory to the fact that applicant belongs as i. e. where she/he is normally domiciled.

Annual Parents’/Guardian’s Source of income
Scholarships will be paid to students whose parents/guardians’ salary from all sources doesn't exceed Rs. 2, 00, 000/- (Rupees couple of lakh only) per annum.
